Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia or Fibromyalgia Syndrome is a common and chronic musculoskeletal disorder. It is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, diffuse tenderness in the joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissue and a heightened and painful response to pressure. It is usually accompanied by chronic fatigue, sleep disturbance, difficulties with memory, moodiness etc. Fibromyalgia is diagnosed by putting mild pressure on specific trigger points on the body, which elicit pain.
